A B O U T M E
I am currently a USDA postdoctoral research scientist based at the Eastern Oregon Agricultural Research Center, which is co-managed by the USDA ARS Range and Meadow Forage Unit and Oregon State University.
I received my PhD from the University of California Santa Barbara in 2021, where I studied context-dependent effects of wild and domestic ungulates on plant communities and ecosystem function with the Young Lab. I live in Bend, OR with my partner, our cat Princess Leia, and our dog Geralt of Fluffia. When I'm not doing science-y things, I'm probably trail running, riding bikes with friends, paddling the river (summer) or learning how to ski (winter), painting/taking photos, or curled up on the couch with a scifi/fantasy novel. |
